I do not support mandatory vaccination. Vaccines such as Smallpox work amazingly well, in fact, Smallpox was declared extinct in the World in 1977, but the 2019 Flu Vaccine had a 93% failure rate which most people would rate as an extremely poor performer. The vaccine for Smallpox is a naturally occurring weaker strain of that type of virus called Cowpox. It have no adverse chemicals in it. There is a risk that the first Covid-19 vaccine may present with unforeseen adverse side effects. A vaccine is usually a damaged virus. For a virus to infect people, it has to be so chemically like Human RNA (genetic code) that is can fool human cells into copying it. Chemicals such as enzymes can be used to damage viruses. An enzyme is a substance produced by a living organism which acts as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction. Catalysts are not reactants and are not used up so they can keep doing what they are doing. If a enzyme can damage a virus that is chemically very like human RNA then it can most likely damage human RNA. We are very concerned that our skin is not exposed to too much ultra-violet light because it can damage our RNA, preventing our skin cells from functioning correctly as skin cells so they may die or become a cancer. This is one reason the development of a vaccine is complex and if it is not completely free of a enzyme that was used to produce it can produce a side effect we call cancer. While this is one possible side effect it is one that nobody wants. It is unethical for a government to mandate medication. Smallpox became extinct without the vaccine being mandated. If the vaccine performs well people will want it but if it performs poorly mandating its use will not improve its performance. |
